Working With a True
Professional
Mediation is a powerful tool that empowers lawyers and their clients to resolve disputes with certainty and control. It is incredibly cost-effective compared to expensive and protracted litigation. And it allows everyone involved to develop creative solutions in a safe, cooperative, and confidential process.
Lawrence Glasner believes that all disputes can be resolved through mediation. His background as a litigator, combined with his extensive study and practice of mediation, certainly contribute to his effectiveness as a neutral. Lawrence is impartial, fair, persistent, and patient. He will work incredibly hard to help resolve your matter.
Lawrence focuses his mediation practice on litigated and non-litigated matters, including employment disputes, breach of contract, elder abuse, water law, real estate, non-profit and church law, and other civil matters.
He began practicing law as an associate in the employment law department of Rehwald, Rameson & Lewis in Los Angeles, eventually becoming the senior partner. He has vast experience litigating in state and federal court. He has resolved hundreds of cases via trial, arbitration, and mediation, including a $7 million settlement in a wage and hour case and a $5 million verdict in a civil assault and battery case.
Lawrence is a California SuperLawyer and Martindale-Hubble AV-rated. He trained in mediation with Randy Lowry at Pepperdine University’s Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution and with Monica Lichtenberger in Denver, Colorado.
In addition to his mediation practice, Lawrence teaches law and legal writing. He has taught for the California State Bar and continuing legal education seminars and trained staff members at the Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Human Trafficking in Los Angeles.
